COMMERCIAL SEWER USE CREDIT ADJUSTMENT PROGRAM (SUCA)
Commercial Sewer Use Credit Program – Irrigation Sub-Meters
Flagg Creek Water Reclamation District (FCWRD) offers a Commercial Sewer Use Credit Program for water used for irrigation that does not enter the sanitary sewer system.
To participate in this program, a sub-meter must be installed on the irrigation system by a licensed plumber. If your property already has an existing irrigation sub-meter, it may qualify for use under this program.
Please note: FCWRD and the local Villages do not maintain or read irrigation sub-meters. All installation, maintenance, and related costs are the responsibility of the property owner or property management.
To enroll in the program, the following items must be submitted:
1) A completed permit application
2) A $175 inspection and processing fee
3) A photo of the irrigation sub-meter clearly showing the meter reading and serial number
The submitted photo will serve as the starting meter reading for the year.
Each December, participants must email updated photos of the sub-meter(s), clearly showing the current reading and serial number, to info@fcwrd.org in order to receive a gallon-for-gallon credit for water that did not enter FCWRD’s sewer system.
